Digital Teacher Edition and Digital Suite Access Changes
This article outlines how Digital Teacher Edition (DTE) licenses are assigned and how teachers access their DTE for the 2024-2025 school year.
What has changed from last year?
There are two major changes for the 2024-2025 school year:
- Digital Teacher Edition licenses are now assigned by our Digital Implementation Support team. Curriculum administrators can no longer manually assign these licenses to teachers. Licenses are ready to use as soon as your organization has been rostered for the upcoming school year.
- Resources previously accessed on the greatminds.org dashboard are now accessed from the In Sync platform at digital.greatminds.org. Administrators and teachers can no longer log in at greatminds.org once your organization has been rostered for 2024-2025.
What action(s) do I need to take?
- First, contact your district IT team to confirm if rostering has been completed. Teachers and administrators cannot access their digital materials until this process is complete.
- If you are an administrator or a non-teaching role, you’ll need to communicate with your IT department to determine the correct role you need in Great Minds. See User Roles and Permissions for more information about staff roles and the permissions available to each role.
- Once rostering is complete, the district IT team must directly provide teachers with their login information. Teachers will log in using your district’s Single Sign-On (SSO) provider or at digital.greatminds.org. See the article Log in to Great Minds for more information.
Note for Self-Serve Rostering Customers:
Curriculum administrators no longer create teacher accounts and assign licenses from the GreatMinds.Org dashboard. To roster teachers, you'll navigate to Manage using the waffle icon at the top right. For a tutorial on creating teacher accounts, see Create Teachers. Once teacher accounts have been created, their DTE licenses will be available and ready to use.
Once teachers log in, they’ll have access to all their digital content. See the curriculum-specific instructions below for more information:
