Eureka Math Affirm - Customize Assessments

Assessments can be customized in Eureka Math Affirm® only.

Select an Assessment to Copy

To customize an assessment, you must first make a copy of it.

1. Navigate to the Library in Affirm using the main menu.

2. Locate the assessment you wish to copy in the library.

3. Select Make a copy in the drop-down menu to the right of the assessment.

Creating a copy will open an assessment editor. Any edits to the copied assessment will not change the original assessment in the Great Minds Library.

 

Update the Assessment Title

To change the assessment title, select the pencil icon to the right of the title at the top of the page.

Remove and Rearrange Items

To remove items, first select them by checking the boxes to the left of each question, and then select the Remove button at the top of the list.

To rearrange items, select the drag bar and drag the item to the desired position in the item list.

Add Items

To add items to the assessment, select Find Items at the top of the item list.

This will bring up an item selection screen. You can search for items by keyword, Curriculum Attribute (Module, Lesson, Topic) or by Standard. To filter results by curriculum attribute, begin typing "grade", "module, and/or "topic" into the filter bar on the right. This will populate filters to narrow your results. Eureka Math items are available in Spanish and English, so narrowing results to the appropriate grade, module, and/or topic may be helpful to limit the number of items returned.

You can preview items by selecting the eye icon to the left of the item. Select items by checking the boxes to the left of the item, and then select Add Item(s) to add them to the copied assessment.

Once you have added the items, click the Back button at the top of the page before saving or publishing to retain your changes.

Save and Publish

To save the assessment, select the Save as Draft button. When you have finished modifying the assessment, you must publish it before you can schedule and launch it. To publish the assessment, select Save and Publish.

After publishing, you will return to the My Assessments tab. You can filter by Draft, Published, and All Assessments by selecting these options from the dropdown box in the upper left.
