Eureka Math Squared - Lesson Level Page

The Lesson Level page contains resources needed to facilitate a lesson.

Overview

  1. Lesson title

  2. Recommended length of the lesson in minutes

  3. The lesson Objective that reveals the mathematical purpose of the lesson

  4. The Lesson at a Glance section, which gives a snapshot of the lesson and shows what students should know, understand, and do while engaging with the lesson

  5. Key Questions, designed to help focus instruction and guide classroom discourse

  1. The Agenda, showing the sequence and recommended length, in minutes, of each lesson section.

  2. The Materials list, which specifies the items that the teacher and students need for the lesson.

  3. The Lesson Preparation section, providing guidance about materials that need to be created, assembled, or placed in advance.

  4. Tabs that allow you to access each section of the lesson.

  5. The Present button, which displays the lesson presentation slides to students.

  6. Select the link icon next to any page section or sub-section header to copy a direct link to the page section.

Annotation Tools

  1. This vertical toolbar includes access to the Achievement Descriptors and Standards, the Key Questions, and the Materials List. You can use the Notes section to annotate the lesson. See Annotating Lessons for more information on the Notes feature.
  2. The presentation slide indicator shows the number of slides in a section.
  3. The presentation slide preview allows you to see the slides that correspond to the lesson.​​​​​​​

Lesson Resources

Most lessons include resources, such as worksheets, videos, or assessments. Select the Resources tab to access the lesson resources.

  1. Select the download icon on a resource card to download the resource.
  2. Select the eye icon on a a resource card to preview it. Note: When previewing a resource, you can copy or bookmark the page URL to save the resource for future use. 
  3. Check the box on each card to select multiple resources. You can perform the following actions in bulk:
    1. Assign the selected resources to your class
    2. Download the selected resources in bulk
