Navigate the Module Page
The Module page provides an at-a-glance view of the learning that happens in the module. The Module page also provides access to the module resources, curriculum, and Eureka Math Squared Equip™ materials.
The module summary briefly describes the module content and states the number of topics and lessons. Below the module summary, you’ll find module resources: the Module Overview, standards, assessments, and Eureka Math Squared Equip materials.
Select Equip to access the module’s essential foundational knowledge, the Pre-Module Assessment, and the teacher guides for upcoming instruction.
Navigate the Module Resources
Select the Module Overview button to view the module resources.
The Overview summarizes each topic to show the development of learning in the module. It also provides connections to related content before and after the module to help you understand the mathematical coherence within and across grade levels.
The Why tab gives insight into the reasoning behind certain decisions made during the writing of the module. This insight helps you understand the structure of the module, the flow of the content, and the coherence between the different grades and/or modules in the curriculum.
Achievement Descriptors are standards-aligned descriptions that detail what students should know and be able to do based on the instruction.
Terminology provides lists of new and familiar terms used in the module. For new terminology, definitions are included as they appear within the module.
Math Past is a module resource that connects the topics in the module to historical events. Each Math Past correlates to at least one relevant lesson in the module.
Materials are the items that you and your students need to implement the module. The suggested quantities are based on a class of 24 students and one teacher.
Fluency provides guidance for facilitating the recommended activities and Sprints in the module.
Resources provide a collection of documents students complete throughout the module, such as assessments and Sprints, as well as useful information for teachers, such as the module’s relevant standards and Achievement Descriptors.
Navigate the Topic Resources
The Topic Overview is a summary of the development of learning for each topic. It includes information about how learning connects to previous or upcoming content and the Progression of Lessons chart.
Select the Standards button to see how the topic’s mathematical content aligns with standards.
Quizzes assess students’ proficiency in the major concepts of the topic.
On the right under Lessons, you can see the lessons covered within the topic.
Upcoming Lessons Panel
Click the Upcoming Lessons icon at the top right of the grade level page.
In the Upcoming Lessons panel, you can toggle between your classes and see lessons you recently launched in each section. Previously launched lessons are clearly labeled with a check mark icon. When you've taught all lessons in the topic, you can navigate to the next topic using the Prepare for Topic option at the bottom right.
