Open and Close Pacing Gates

Pacing gates in lessons allow teachers to pause for points of discussion or to bring the class together at a particular slide.

The sealed locks in the slide navigation indicate closed pacing gates. When students reach a closed pacing gate, they cannot progress to the next slide until the teacher unlocks it for the class.

To open a gate, select a sealed lock. The lock will open, and students can continue to the next slides.
