Get Started with My Geodes

This article and video provide an overview of the updated My Geodes digital experience

 

Access My Geodes®

  1. Log into Great Minds at digital.greatminds.org or through your district's SSO provider. See this article for more information: Logging into Great Minds. 

  2. If you logged in through Clever or ClassLink, select the Great Minds app in your Portal or launchpad. All other users will launch directly into Great Minds.

  3. If you are licensed for multiple Great Minds products, select My Geodes from the curriculum drop-down on the top navigation bar.

My Geodes Teacher Experience


Level Resources:

  1. Select your desired grade level from the drop-down.

    Select grade level drop-down menu that contains Kindergarten, Level 1, and Level 2
  2. Access the Teacher Guidance, Flash Cards, and Family Tip Sheets associated with the selected level.

Browse Books:

  1. Expand a Module to view the text sets within the module
  2. Expand a Set to view the books within the set.
  3. Access the teacher guidance for each book within the text set

Preview Books:

  1. Click on a book's title to preview the book.
  2. Teachers can use the Copy link to share option to share direct links to specific books with their students.

  3. Click the right page to advance to the next page and click the left page to return to the previous page. You can also use the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard to flip to the previous or next page.

My Geodes Student Experience

Students have access to the full library of K-2 Geodes books in their account.

Find Books:

  1. Select Find from the left side menu.
  2. Use the arrow buttons to navigate to the desired level.
  3. Select a Module and Set to browse the books within the Set.

View Books:

  1. Select a book title to preview it.
  2. Click the right page to advance to the next page and click the left page to return to the previous page. You can also use the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard to flip to the previous or next page.
