Eureka Math Squared - Launch Presentations

Presentation slides and digital lessons are accessed through the lesson level page of the digital platform. Lessons containing slides will have a Present button at the top right that allows teachers to present the lesson to students.

Presentation Slides

If the lesson contains only presentation slides, i.e is not a digital lesson, it will have a presentation icon to indicate that student devices are optional. This applies to all K-5 lessons, and some Levels 6-9 lessons. Select Present to Class when you're ready to begin the lesson.

Select Present to launch the presentation. If you previously taught the same lesson, you'll be prompted to Reopen the lesson for students to join. If the lesson has already been started by the primary teacher, or another teacher in the class, a Live indicator will appear and the teacher will be prompted to Join the live lesson.

The presentation will then open in Guidance view. Teachers can toggle to the Monitoring view if they wish to view the lesson slides without the associated guidance content. The Gallery tab is disabled by default for lessons that do not contain interactive student-facing slides.

The presentation slides will automatically launch in a new window to project to your class. From the Guidance view, you can also toggle on the Present option for a specific slide you wish to present. Teachers can also select a specific slide to present to students using the kebab menu next to the slide.

Review your pop-up settings in Chrome or Safari if you are unable to launch presentations. You’ll need to allow pop-ups from digital.greatminds.org.

Your presenting slide will automatically update to the slide that was sent to your students. Once you send a slide to students, you can monitor their work under the Monitoring tab. You'll also have access to the Gallery tab in order to capture student work.
