PhD Science Texas - Annotate PDFs

When reviewing and scoring student assignment submissions, teachers can use the provided annotation tools to add text, draw, add shapes, and highlight.

Using the View options in the annotation toolbar, you can increase or decrease the zoom as needed. For better visibility, select the Fit icon to expand the assignment in the PDF viewer, or select the Full Screen icon to view and annotate the PDF in full screen mode.

Select the Text icon to add text to the PDF. You can also change the text size or color if desired. Click on the area where you wish to add text, and begin typing.

Select the Draw icon to add free-form annotations or shapes. You can select your desired line thickness, color, and shape from the options menu. Then click and drag to begin drawing or adding a shape.

Select the Highlight icon to highlight text on the PDF. You can change the highlight color using the options menu if desired. Then click and drag your cursor over the text portion you wish to highlight.

Click the Erase icon to remove any annotations from the PDF. Click and drag over the annotations you wish to erase.

Use the Move tool to move up or down within the PDF without adding any annotations.

When you're finished adding annotations, click the Save button at the top left.
