PhD Science Texas - Present Lesson Slides
In this article, we'll review how teachers present lesson slides.
Review your pop-up settings in Chrome or Safari if you are unable to launch presentations. You’ll need to allow pop-ups from Great Minds.
Access presentation slides through the lesson page of the digital platform. Lessons containing slides have a Present button at the top right that allows you to present the lesson to students.
You can also use the presentation toggle.
Start Lessons
Lessons contain teacher-facing slides. Students do not need devices for these lessons unless you plan to send them slides to view on their devices.
- Navigate to the lesson guidance page.
- Click the Present button at the top right and select Present to Class from the drop-down menu.
- In the pop-up, launch the lesson for a specific class using the Present button, or continue an unfinished lesson by selecting Reopen.
- A new tab opens, from which you can view lesson guidance content in Guidance view or view and customize the slides in Monitoring view. The class presentation opens in a new window. See Presentation Controls and Views for a walkthrough of the presentation tools.
- If using extended screens, you can drag the presentation window to the projected screen.
