This article outlines the lesson planning tools available to teachers in the Great Minds Digital Platform. These planning tools allow teachers to view and interact with the digital slides prior to teaching the lesson.
Preview Lesson
To preview all slides within a lesson, click the Present button at the top right of the lesson page and select Preview from the drop-down menu. 
This opens up the Monitoring view where you can navigate through the entire sequence of slides in the lesson.
All data such as customizations, interactions and annotations will not be saved or affect classes.
a. Use the tabs to switch between the Guidance and Monitoring views.
b. Open and close the slide player using the toggle.
c. Make slide customizations using slide menu.
d. Select Exit to return to the lesson page.
Zoom and Interact
Scroll down on the teacher guidance page to view the slides associated with each section of the lesson. Click the kebab icon next to a slide and select one of the following options:
- Select Zoom to view an enlarged image of the slide. Click the X at the top right to close the image.
- Select Interact to preview an interactive version of the selected slide in a new tab. Use the arrow buttons to navigate to other slides in the lesson. No data is saved from the interaction.
The rectangles indicate your position in the overall slide sequence. The solid black rectangle and solid black dot indicate the current slide. To switch to a different slide in the lesson sequence:
- Select an empty rectangle or dot to jump to that slide position.
- Use the up and down arrows to move to the previous or next slide in the sequence, respectively.
