Eureka Math Squared - Presentation Controls and Views
Launch and Navigate Slides
1. After starting a lesson, the presentation automatically opens in a new window.
Review your pop-up settings in Chrome or Safari if the presentation does not launch. You’ll need to allow pop-ups from http://digital.greatminds.org.
a. Advance the presentation slides from the Guidance view by using the arrows, OR
b. Advance slides using the arrows on the top of the presentation.
2. If you close the presentation window, you can re-open it using the toggle.
Jump to a Slide
To jump quickly from one slide to another, use the Presenter window.
Guidance View
1. In the Guidance view, find the slide you want to present by clicking on the arrows or dots to change slides.
a. Jump sections using the double arrows.
2. Click the kebab icon next to the slide and select Present this slide from the drop-down.
Monitoring View
1. In Monitoring, locate the slide you wish to present in the panel on the left.
2. Click the kebab icon next to the slide and select Present this slide from the drop-down.
Switch Views
On the top toolbar, you can switch between the Guidance, Monitoring, and Gallery views.
Guidance View
The Guidance view allows you to view the teacher guidance content and your notes while presenting.
1. The slide(s) corresponding to the guidance content appear in the right hand column of the page. As you advance the presentation, the page will automatically scroll.
a. The currently-presented slide is denoted by an orange outline.
b. Clicking on the slides, dots, or arrow will let you view that slide without changing the Presentation.
2. The presentation controls appear below each slide thumbnail.
Monitoring View
Toggle to the Monitoring view if you wish to view the lesson slides without the associated guidance content, or if you want to monitor student work on slides.
1. All slides in the presentation are shown the panel on the left.
a. The currently presented slide is outlined in orange.
b. Select a slide thumbnail to view the slide without changing the Presentation.
2. The presentation controls are on the bottom.
3. If students join the lesson from their device, you can view student screens from the Monitoring view.
a. The icon on the slide thumbnail will show how many students are active on a slide.
b. Student screens are shown below the main slide preview.
c. Use the Refresh Student Progress option at the top left to refresh the student screens with their current progress.
Gallery
The Gallery view can be used in digital lessons to view your frames and create discussions. For more information, see Capture and Present Student Work.
