The option to reopen assessments is limited for Equip assessments and depends on the student's progress on the assessment.

  • Student fully completes an Equip assessment: Teachers cannot reopen an Equip assessment for students who have submitted the assessment. If a student needs to retake an assessment, their teacher would need to reassign the assessment to the student.
  • Student partially completes an Equip assessment (i.e., at least one item response has been saved): Teachers can reopen Equip assessments for students with an attempt in progress. Students will pick up where they left off in the assessment but they cannot go back to previous questions.
  • Student never attempted an Equip assessment: Teachers can reopen an assessments for students who have not yet attempted the assessment.
