Add Co-Teachers to Classes
When a class is first created, the primary teacher is set. However, additional co-teachers may be assigned to a class. Teachers must first be created at the school before they can be assigned to classes.
Role Required: District Administrator, School Administrator, or Teacher
This feature is for Self-Serve Rostering customers only.
1. Select Manage from the left side menu.
2. If your account is associated with multiple schools, click the Schools tab and then select a school.
3. Select the Classes icon.
4. Select the class you need to edit.
5. On the class page, select the Primary teacher field to edit the teachers associated with the class.
6. Check the box to the left of the teacher(s) you want to assign to the selected class.
Under Type, make sure Co-teacher is selected if you're adding co-teachers. You can also change the primary teacher of the class by selecting Primary Teacher from the Type drop-down.
7. Click the Save button to add the selected teachers to the class
Tips
- Co-teachers added to classes have the same permissions as the primary teacher
- Teachers can be searched by their first name, last name, or staff ID.
