Edit Students

This article explains how to edit individual student accounts.

Role Required: District Administrator or School Administrator 

This feature is for Self-Serve Rostering customers only. 


1. Select Manage from the left side menu.

2. If your account is associated with multiple schools, select the Schools tab and navigate to a school.

3. Click the Students icon.

4. Locate the student you need to edit. Use the search bar at the top of the student list to search for a specific student by first name, last name, or email address.

5. Click the kebab icon on the student's row and select Edit from the drop-down menu.

6. In the Edit Student modal, you can modify the following information for the selected student:

  • First Name: The first name of the student.  
  • Middle Name: The middle name of the student.  
  • Last Name: The last name of the student.  
  • Student ID: The student’s unique ID. This student ID must be unique within your district.  
  • Email Address: The email address of the student. If provided, this email must be unique.  
  • Username: The username of the student that can be used to log into Great Minds. This username must be unique within your district.

7. Click the Save Changes button to save.
