Suggested Rostering Methods

(Listed in order of preference and ease of use) 

Clever
This is our preferred method as it is a free program that allows districts to integrate with many applications, including our Great Minds App, and utilizes SSO. This is the most straightforward rostering method and most helpful to help users troubleshoot their access. Clever syncs data with your SIS (student information system). When your data is updated, you will be synced with our application within 24 hours.  

ClassLink API
This is an option for districts that are current ClassLink customers as ClassLink does have an associated cost based on the size of your district. Great Minds supports ClassLink's Roster Server application for rostering as well as their Launch Pad application for SSO. Roster changes shared through ClassLink Roster Server (API) will update in Great Minds within 24 hours.

OneRoster v1.1 CSV Rostering
This is an option for districts who can export OneRoster formatted files from their SIS and share them with Great Minds via an SFTP connection established by your administrator.

LTI Deep Linking 2.0

Deep Linking is the ability to deploy deep links (direct links to resources) from Great Minds Affirm into your LMS. Users can click on the deep link in your LMS and be directly navigated to that resource in Great Minds.

LTI Assignment and Grade Services 2.0

Assignment and Grade Services, also referred to as grade pass back, is the ability for student assessment scores to be sent back to your LMS gradebook. We support this integration for Affirm and the Great Minds Digital Platform with the following LMS providers:
