Complete Assessments

All assessments assigned by a student's teacher will be shown under My Work when a student logs in to their account.

Complete Assessments

1. Students with access to multiple Great Minds curricula can navigate to the desired subject using the drop-down menu on the top navigation bar.

2. On the My Work page, students can select an assessment to begin working on it.

3. Click the Start button to begin the assessment.

4. Students can respond to questions by selecting or entering their response as prompted. The Next and Back buttons and the Question list on the right can be used to navigate between questions. 

💡Students can also utilize additional tools and settings options enabled by their teacher.

5. Once a student has responded to all questions, they will be prompted to Review the assessment.

6. On the Review page, students will see summary of the items they have completed so far. The summary also shows flagged, unattempted, or partially attempted items. Students can filter the item list by category, and select an item to return to it and review or finish working on it.

7. Once the student has reviewed and completed all items, they'll select Finish to submit the assessment to their teacher for scoring.


Tools and Settings

If the assessment is timed, a timer will be shown in the top right corner.

If enabled by their teacher, students can utilize text-to-speech functionality to have text read aloud to them during the assessment.

Additional tools can be accessed via the toolbar navigation on the right side of the screen at any time during the assessment.

  1. Save - Students can save their work at any time.
  2. Accessibility - Students can access accessibility options including changing the color scheme, font size, or zoom.
  3. Review - Students can review the total questions in the assessment to view which questions they have completed, which are still unattempted, and any questions they may have flagged.

  4. Flag - Students can flag specific questions to remind themselves to review them again prior to submitting the assessment.

  5. Tools - If enabled by their teacher in the assessment settings, students may have additional tools available to them including a calculator, notepad, and/or highlighter.

  6. Full Screen - Students can view their assessment in full screen mode.
