Eureka Math Squared 2025-2026 Digital Updates

For Back-to-School 2025, Great Minds® has undertaken a series of updates to streamline the user experience and improve our digital platform.

⚠️  Action needed: As a result of these updates, teachers and administrators must take specific actions to retain access to the following:

Teachers and administrators must perform these actions prior to July 6, 2025, to avoid losing access to existing data. Rostering data shared with Great Minds via Clever, ClassLink, or OneRoster CSV is not impacted by these updates.

Additional changes to the Eureka Math² digital experience are outlined below, including:

The new Eureka Math² digital experience includes a streamlined and simplified layout and design. Review the video overview below for a sneak peek at the new experience.

Administrator Reports

Administrator visual and CSV reports from prior school years cannot be viewed or exported from the platform after July 6, 2025. Administrators should screenshot and/or export any reports they wish to retain prior to this date.

Additionally, the Adjusted Score calculation will be removed from administrator reports. To maintain consistency in score calculations across teacher and administrator reports, all assessment scores will use a raw score calculation going forward.

⚠️ Action(s) needed:

  • Export CSV reports prior to July 6, 2025
  • Screenshot any visual reports prior to July 6, 2025

Teacher Reports

Class-level assessment reports from prior school years will not be accessible after July 6, 2025. Teachers can print any student reports or assessment submissions they wish to retain. They can also screenshot any visual reports.

Additionally, the Adjusted Score column and calculations will be removed from class-level reports. To maintain consistency in score calculations across teacher and administrator reports, all assessment scores will use a raw score calculation going forward.

⚠️ Action(s) needed:

Lesson Annotations

Going forward, Eureka Math² lessons will be available in printable PDF format. Teachers can use in-platform annotation tools to annotate lesson PDFs, and their annotations will be saved in the platform. If teachers return to a lesson PDF, any annotations from their previous session(s) will be visible and can be modified if needed. Existing lesson annotations (notes and highlights) on module, topic, and lesson pages will not be accessible after July 6, 2025.

⚠️ Action(s) needed:

Assignment Submissions

Teachers will not have access to PDF assignment submissions from prior school years after July 6, 2025. Teachers can download student assignment submissions they wish to retain.

⚠️ Action(s) needed:

Digital Interactives

Student collaboration and live monitoring on digital interactives in 6+ digital lessons and K–5 slides will no longer be available. Additionally, student progress or interaction with digital interactives will no longer be saved in the platform. Moving forward, students can access digital interactives independently through the Resources section in the platform. They can also access digital interactives assigned by their teacher or shared by their teacher via direct link.

Presentation Slides

Eureka Math² teachers will now have the flexibility to download and edit lesson slides as PowerPoint files, allowing for greater customization. As an alternative to downloading the files, teachers can preview and display the full PowerPoint file in the platform and use the annotation tools provided to annotate the slides. Sending slides to students while presenting will no longer be available. However, the PPT files can be uploaded elsewhere to allow for student access. There are additional impacts specific to Grades 6+. See Grades 6 and Up Digital Lessons below for more information.

Grades 6 and Up Digital Lessons

Based on user feedback, Great Minds is modifying the digital lessons for grades 6 and above in the Eureka Math² product, where changes to digital lessons will impact both Teach and Learn books. These updates aim to provide consistent instructional pedagogy across the Levels K–Algebra I product and enhance the reliability of our digital platform.

Select your Eureka Math² edition below to review which lessons are impacted by these changes:

Key Changes:

  • Editable PowerPoint slides will be available to download for all lessons.
  • Interactives and context videos found to be most beneficial for students will now be accessed via a URL within the slides. These interactives can be assigned by teachers and are available in the Resources section for both teachers and students.
  • Live student monitoring will be retired. As a result, the digital lessons and accompanying Teach book guidance are being reauthored.
  • Updated lesson PDFs will be available for download directly from the digital platform.

Impacts:

  • Current print Teach books for the listed digital lessons will not reflect the new updates, and there will be changes to page numbers.
  • The current student Learn books will also be impacted by these changes. There will be no impact on the scope and sequence or lesson numbers.

Math I

Starting Back-to-School 2025, Math I will not be included with Eureka Math² print or digital offerings.
